Matthew Canavan was identified as the suspect by Independence Township Police and charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of criminal sexual conduct and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, Acting Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picione said.
Canavan was known to the victim, Picione said. He is currently being held at the Warren County Correctional Facility, Picione said.
